Seriously, I don't know how Jesus did it.
Agape is hard. The only days it's manageable is when I specifically take the time to step back from the world, chill out and invite Him into my heart. He's always willing, though. It's lovely.
A friend messaged me and suggested that we naked skype.
he did it in that way that was "this is totally a joke and I know you know that, but if we did actually do this, i wouldn't be against it." I met him in a restaurant and we had bonded over our love of Christ.
Move over, Johnny Cash, got some company on that line for ya.
So what happened? I treated him like my brother. Because that's who he is, my brother in Christ and it led to an awesome conversation about forgiveness and fortitude and walking in the spirit.
I'd apologise for being so spotty with the updating, but I'm starting to firmly believe one can't critique or comment eloquently or interestingly on something one is IN; actively participating in, yes, but THAT STRUGGLE is undefined because if one were to take one's concentration for a moment, all is lost.
This conversation today, filled with agape, could not have happened if the last few months hadn't.
I promised you 365 days of agape, and that, my friends, is what you will receive.
In your patiences posses ye your souls Luke 21:19
(and from That Thing You Do)
xoxo
